Furious Aston Villa supporters have been reacting online after watching their team lost 4-2 to Leicester City at Villa Park this afternoon (Saturday).

Villa took the lead twice in the match, before Leicester pinned them back and went on to win the match. After Leicester picked up all three points in Birmingham, home supporters have been fuming about how their team performed.

After a positive start under head coach Unai Emery, they rued "mistake after mistake" against Leicester and have "no one to blame but themselves" for defeat, their supporters have told them. Below is a look at what they've been saying on social media.

@Gazoaks: One of those days definitely. But we can’t have that many individual mistakes in one game. Worrying with City and Arsenal the next 2.

@lmechegaray: Villa lose 4-2 in one of the most frustrating matches I've ever seen. A game that was there for the taking to reach the top half but Villa - w/ more than double attempts over LCFC but incredibly naive defensively - have no one to blame but themselves.

@DiscusDan: Mistake after mistake cost us today. Probably our most inconsistent performance in midfield & defence. Showed some positivity going forward & for the majority of the game the much better side. Missed opportunity to jump up the league..

@simonlines: Strange how wide open we were today. Emery’s teams don’t usually play like that, felt like so many gaps all over the field. Handed all 4 goals to them. Form and performances at Villa Park really has to improve for us to reach our goals.

@nicknackjames1: Despite losing there was a lot there to give optimism (to me anyhow). Welcome to Duran, I like the look of him. Nothing will be lost on Unai, he will know exactly what he needs to do

@ThatGarateyjc: Can't be conceding 4 at home whatever the weather and certainly not in that manner, really poor in key defensive moments. Looked good going forward just not clinical enough (again).
