On Saturday 18 February, Irish lightweight Gary Cully puts his unbeaten processional record on the line when he steps into the ring against American Wilfredo Flores in Nottingham.

The 26-year-old boasts an impressive record of nine knockouts from fifteen wins so far, including a first- round stoppage in his last bout in October and he recently signed a new four-fight deal with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom.

The Naas native sat down with Hugh Cahill and spoke about his journey to this point, overcoming a difficult upbringing, and his dream now to be a world champion.
