Samsung unveils Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 with 4 years of Android updates: Price starts at Rs 30,999

Users can pre-order the same between March 16 to March 27 and can get the Galaxy Buds Live for just Rs 999.

In Europe, the Galaxy A34 costs EUR 349 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Similarly, the Galaxy A54 costs EUR 449 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Just like more expensive Samsung flagships, the Galaxy A34 and the Galaxy A54 will receive four years of Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches, hence, both devices will receive updates up to Android 16.

Galaxy A34 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G comes with a large 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 processor with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

The triple camera setup at the rear consists of a 48MP primary camera with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. Similarly, there is also a 13MP selfie camera. The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Samsung does not include a charger in the box and the same also applies to the Galaxy A54.

Galaxy A54 specifications

The Galaxy A54 despite being a more expensive option offers a more compact 6.4-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the Galaxy A34 with a glastic (plastic that looks like glass), the Galaxy A54 has a glass back panel and a plastic frame.

The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 5G processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device has a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro camera. Similarly, there is a 32MP selfie camera at the front with support for face unlock.
