Google Pixel 6a, 7, Pixel 7 Pro finally get 5G support in India with March 2023 feature drop

Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro users can now enjoy Airtel and Jio's 5G network in India.

Google adds new features and capabilities to the Pixel series of smartphones via the Pixel feature drop update. The company has now released the March 2023 feature drop for the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 7 series of smartphones. This update introduces new features such as an improved camera app experience, and new safety and wellness features.

This is an important update for Pixel smartphone users in India. With the March 2023 Pixel feature drop, Google has finally enabled 5G capabilities on the Pixel 6a, the most affordable 5G smartphone from Google along with the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.

If you have either of these devices, go to settings and install the latest software update to enable 5G support. With the software update, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro users can access the 5G network from Airtel and Jio with support for SA and NSA 5G network.

With the update, the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro can now shoot pictures quickly in night sight mode. This has been achieved by tweaking the algorithm on the in-house Tensor chips that power the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 7 series of smartphones.

The update also adds a magic eraser to all the Pixel smartphones. Do note that, the same is also available for every Android and iPhone user with Google One subscription. If you have a Pixel 4a or a newer model, the March update adds features like direct my call and a new fitness tracking feature.
