Álex Moreno is looking forward to the challenge Chelsea will pose Aston Villa on Saturday.

Unai Emery’s Villans head to Stamford Bridge level on points with their west London hosts, knowing victory would take them into the top half of the Premier League table.

Villa will be hoping to pick up where they left off before the international break having extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 3-0 triumph over AFC Bournemouth.

Left-back Moreno has started the last three of those games, registering his second assist of the season so far in the draw at West Ham United.

And the Spaniard, who arrived at the club in January, is prepared for a tough test this weekend.

Aston Villa train ahead of playing Chelsea on Saturday.

“It’s going to be a complicated game,” said Moreno.

“We’re going into the game on the same points and it’s away for us, but I’m looking forward to it.

“I think we can play well and we can add to the points we have, and do what Unai wants, do his ideas well.

“They’re a good team but we’re up for winning and adding to the points we’ve got.”
