Allianz Division 3 FL final

Today

Cavan v Fermanagh, Croke Park, 7.15 – TG4

The game with potentially most on the line in Croke Park this weekend. The winners may yet qualify for the All-Ireland series, depending on Westmeath’s ability to make a Leinster final. So there should be a sprinkling of championship spice.

Chief among Cavan’s tasks is keeping Ultan Kelm under wraps. He scored 1-3 from full-forward last week in Fermanagh’s two point win in Breffni Park.

Verdict: Cavan

Division 4 FL final

Wicklow v Sligo, Croke Park, 5.0 – TG4

Oisín McConville has made good on his initial mission statement in Wicklow: to win promotion. Next up is an assault on the Tailteann Cup.

Sligo won by six points when these teams met in Aughrim at the start of February, but Wicklow have charted a vertical curve in their performances this spring.

Verdict: Sligo

Division 3A HL final

Roscommon v Armagh, Páirc Tailteann, 2.0

Roscommon won by 20 points when these teams last met.

Verdict: Roscommon

Division 3B HL final

Cavan v Leitrim, Abbotstown, 3.0

Cavan should have the edge in this reprise of round four of the league.

Verdict: Cavan

TOMORROW

Division 1 FL final

Mayo v Galway, Croke Park, 4.0 – TG4

A strange kind of glory for whoever wins. Mayo have bigger fish to fry, namely Roscommon next Sunday. But they can’t simply write off a game in Croke Park against a major rival.

Cillian O’Connor looks set to miss out with a hamstring injury while Galway, whose defence has been hugely impressive this spring, recently welcomed Damien Comer back from injury.

Verdict: Galway

Division 2 FL final

Derry v Dublin, Croke Park, 1.45 – TG4

Will he or won’t he? If we didn’t know about Stephen Cluxton’s presence in the Dublin dressing-room until he emerged from it last weekend, we’ll hardly learn whether he plays against Derry tomorrow until some time around when the ball is thrown in.

Dublin have been imprecise in front of goal in this year’s League, and have kicked the ball haphazardly at times. Derry, whose average concession of last than 10 points per game in Division 2, will punish a repeat of that recklessness.

Verdict: Dublin

Division 2A HL final

Kildare v Offaly, O’Moore Park, 2.0

A game of monumental significance for both counties; Kildare’s ascent seems inevitable whereas Offaly are looking to repeat former glories. Offaly’s Eoghan Cahill’s 0-70 from six games make him Division 2’s top scorer.

Verdict: Offaly

Division 2B HL final

Meath v Donegal, Páirc Seán MacDiarmada, 2.0

Meath went five wins for five games in Division 2B and should make it a clean sweep here.

Verdict: Meath
