Leicester city centre building goes up for sale in 'rare development opportunity'
The site is currently used as a photographic studio
A city centre building has gone on the market, offering would-be buyers a "rare" opportunity, according to the estate agent. The Charles Street property is on the doorstep of Leicester's Cultural Quarter, and has “great transport links”, according to sale details.
The building, which has gone on sale this week, is being marketed as a “development opportunity” for someone interested in turning it into homes, Readings Property Group has said. However, permission for such a change would need to be obtained, the agent added.
The site is currently used as a photographic studio, but the agent said it believed the “centrally located” site would suit residential use.
Offers of more than £500,000 are currently being considered. More information about the property is available on the Rightmove website. Take a look around the building via our gallery below.
