Police 'very concerned' following Manchester woman's disappearance

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a Manchester woman who has gone missing in Lancashire. Rachel Jackson, 38, was last seen in Preston on Friday night.

Police say they are 'very concerned' by her disappearance. Rachel was last seen at around 7pm yesterday in the Wadham Road area of Avenham.

She is described as white, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with blonde dreadlocks. She was wearing a multi-coloured ski jacket, bright coloured jeans with black swirls and orange trainers.


She was also carrying a shoulder bag and has an 'old style Raleigh bicycle' with her. Rachel has links to Preston and the Greater Manchester area.

Ch Insp Mark Baines said: "We are very concerned following Rachel’s disappearance and urging people to come forward with information. We want to find her as soon as possible.


"I believe someone has seen her and can help us. Please get in touch and help our investigation."
