Left-back Victor Kristiansen returns to the Leicester City starting line-up as Brendan Rodgers makes two changes to his side to face Crystal Palace.

Kristiansen has missed the past three games with an ankle injury but comes back into the side at Selhurst Park, with Timothy Castagne switching back over to the right of defence. Ricardo Pereira is the player to make way, the Portuguese denied an opportunity to play four straight 90-minute matches in the Premier League for the first time in more than three years.

The other change is at centre-back, where Wout Faes comes back in. He was suspended for City's last outing at Brentford, but comes back into the side in place of Daniel Amartey. Harry Souttar is fit to start alongside Faes, recovering from the ankle knock he suffered on Australia duty.

Rodgers has stuck with the same midfield and forward trios from the draw at Brentford, meaning Wilfred Ndidi is preferred to Papy Mendy. James Maddison captains the side, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall completing the midfield.

Up front, Patson Daka leads the line, the Zambian starting ahead of Kelechi Iheanacho. He is flanked by Tete and Harvey Barnes, the latter looking for the goal that will take him into double figures in a single Premier League season for the first time in his career.

In goal, Daniel Iversen makes his second Premier League appearance, as Rodgers said he would this week. On the bench, there is no place for Dennis Praet, who has a dead leg, nor Jonny Evans, despite his return to training.

City (4-3-3): Iversen; Castagne, Souttar, Faes, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall, Maddison; Tete, Daka, Barnes. Subs: Ward, Amartey, Soyuncu, Ricardo, Thomas, Mendy, Soumare, Iheanacho, Vardy.
