Last year, the soccer universe witnessed one of the saddest breakups in the celebrity space. The ‘perfect’ couple, Shakira and Gerard Pique parted ways after a twelve-year relationship. Throughout the course of the relationship, most fans thought that their bond was unbreakable. Earlier in 2022, Pique was in conversation with Jordi Wild on The Wild Project. During the interview, the two of them spoke about quite a few relevant topics from the soccer universe. The interviewer then subtly tried to get the Colombian singer’s name into the discussion. As controversial as it sounds, the soccer veteran actually started publicly talking about his intimate life.

He said, “I like to enter the field, to be whistled at, to be warming up and look at the people and see those disfigured faces that love you…. And you laugh and they still get even more f**ked up.” Pique continued, “It is a pleasure, there is nothing comparable in the world. I would say it’s better than having sex”.
