Barcelona linked with shock move for Marc Roca

Barcelona will launch a shock move to sign Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca as Sergio Busquets' replacement, after the veteran Spain international announced he would be leaving the club on a free transfer.

That is according to Fichajes, who claim Barca see Roca as a suitable replacement given he is a low-cost solution to bolster the midfield unit following Leeds' relegation from the Premier League.

Roca only joined Leeds last summer from Bayern Munich, making 36 appearances for the Whites.

Bayer Leverkusen linked with loan move for Luis Sinisterra

Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are keen on a loan move for Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra. That is according to Colombian outlet El Deportivo, who claim the Whites would be willing to sanction a temporary departure from Elland Road.

Sinisterra only joined Leeds last summer from Feyenoord and the 22-year-old has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027. He struggled with injuries intermittently during his first season in England but showed glimpses of quality, scoring seven goals for the Whites.

Roma won't pay Diego Llorente release clause

Roma are 'happy' with Diego Llorente after his loan stay in the Italian capital but won't pay the release clause to sign him permanently from Leeds United.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "AS Roma are happy with Diego Llorente but €18m buy clause from Leeds is now considered too expensive. Roma have also triggered the option to extend Andrea Belotti’s contract due to expire at the end of the month — it will now be valid until June 2025."

Llorente joined the Serie A side in January and made 12 appearances for Jose Mourinho - including a substitute appearance in last week's Europa League final defeat to Sevilla.
