Zendaya dancing to Beyoncé is kicking off summer in our hearts

Los Angeles may still be June Gloom-ing, but Zendaya attended her assistant Darnell Appling's birthday party at Pan Pacific Park in LA during a sunny moment over the weekend, so it's officially summer in our hearts, if not in the sky.

In fact, at the Freaknik themed bash, the former Shake It Up! star busted out a few dance moves, joining in with a group dance to Beyoncé's “Before I Let Go.” In a white halter, low-rise jeans and pink nails, she looks ready for a picnic and a trip to the club.

And Timbs, looks like!

While her boyfriend Tom Holland didn't appear to be in attendance, Zendaya's Dune co-star Timothée Chalamet did show up and busted a move or two.

He later covered his jersey with a shirt from the party…

Timmy and Z shaking a tail feather together is not a new phenomenon. In 2021, the Euphoria star revealed to Stephen Colbert that during the filming for Dune: Part One, the pair would regularly boogie in her hotel room, along with other members of the cast and crew. Gotta blow off steam after a long day of fighting sandworms!

"He's become one of my closest friends, and he is lovely and so talented," she said at the time. "I think my favourite part was when we would have these, like, dance parties in my room, where I would leave the door open, Timothée would come in with his little speaker, and then everybody would start coming in, and we'd just start dancing."

Chalamet—currently rumoured to be hooking up with Kylie Jenner—hasn't commented on Zendaya's dance moves but did praise basically everything else about her on Twitter in 2020, writing, "happy birthday to one of the most inspiring people I've met on my short journey. Someone with the strongest ethical character, and a moral compass that is in harmony with a totally fearless creative abandon. happy birthday @Zendaya, hope your day is beautiful, friend.."
