I Kissed a Boy star Subomi has teased there's just a "bit of drama" to come in the upcoming reunion episode, which airs this Sunday (June 11).

The hit BBC Three LGBTQ+ dating show, which sees 10 single gay men on a quest to find love, was released in May and proved so popular with viewers that host Dannii Minogue has since confirmed spin-off I Kissed A Girl is currently in the works.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, I Kissed a Boy cast member Subomi revealed what fans can expect from the cast reunion.

"I will tease what probably everyone is expecting... just a tad little bit of drama," he said. "But the reunion is cute, so stay tuned and catch up with everything that you're expecting to see from what went on in the masseria."

Subomi, who describes himself as an "athlete, software developer, model and performer", was paired with fashion stylist Gareth on day one of the show.

The two hit it off immediately after their first kiss and remained coupled up together throughout the series.

In the finale, both Subomi and Gareth chose to continue their relationship during the final kiss-off, in front of family and friends.

Viewers are eager to learn if Subomi and Gareth, plus other I Kissed A Boy couples, are still together in the anticipated reunion episode.

Subomi opened up on his connection with Gareth, and how they seemed to click so early on in the show.

"I was really surprised from the first kiss and just how I felt after walking around that corner and seeing him across from me," he told us. "So I was surprised, but I was also really happy with it as we enjoyed our time in the masseria."

The reality star added that he isn't usually "a love at first sight kind of person" and that when dating, a suitor's personality is also important to him.

"The thing is, if the attraction is there then cool, but you kind of want more than just an initial reaction," Subomi explained. "Like you want to get to know someone and see what's in their mind.

"The fact that we had that attraction at the beginning set the tone and that was really nice to start off," he said of his and Gareth's relationship.

The I Kissed a Boy reunion episode airs on Sunday, June 11 at 9pm on BBC Three.
