Dancing On Ice star Rufus Hound has been packing on the PDA with his girlfriend as he gushed about his love for her on social media.

The 44-year-old comedian has been dating actress Sally Hodgkiss, who once appeared as a waitress on EastEnders in 2019, since last year following his split with wife Beth Johnson in 2020.

In 2007, Rufus and Beth married in a Las Vegas ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel but the two separated after 13 years of marriage in April 2020. They share two children together - Alby and Hilda.

But it appears Rufus has found love once again after he spoke candidly about Sally, saying how it is a "blessing to be her boyfriend" and that she is the "absolute best person that I didn't make".

Sally reciprocated the compliments by saying that her boyfriend is the "best person I ever met".

The two attended Glastonbury at the weekend together where the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Cat Stevens, Lizzo, Guns N' Roses and Sir Elton John shone on the Pyramid Stage.

Sally wrote on Twitter: "Well ⁦@glastonbury 2023 was UNREAL! Huge love as ever to beautiful Stephen Frost for throwing me into this madness, and to ⁦ @richardvranch @iancoppinger @joerooney1 and @rufushound for being hilarious men and terrible influences. Right, back to bed."

Before adding: "P.s. @RufusHound is the best person I ever met. So there’s that as well."

Rufus was equally as romantic when he quote-tweeted Sally's post on the social media platform.

He tweeted: "No one has ever loved me as much as this woman and the best bit is she's all things wonderful. It's a blessing to be her boyfriend and she is my absolute best person that I didn't make.

"She makes everything fun and good all the time. She's sunshine and snogging and smiling all at once. It was the BEST time.

"Thanks @glastonbury. You remain as close to heaven as exists on earth."

The couple met during the pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk at Norwich Theatre last year before their relationship blossomed.

Rufus appeared on the 2021 series of Dancing On Ice before he was axed in week four after testing positive for Covid-19 but his short stint did not go without controversy.

After winning the Golden Ticket which saved him from elimination in week two, he made a thinly veiled dig at politicians over the free school meals scandal.

MPs provoked a storm of criticism at the end of 2020 by voting down the Marcus Rashford-backed initiative to extend free school meals over the holidays.

He said on receiving the Golden Ticket: "I've spent most of this year not emotionally stable because the world does not make sense and this does not make more sense of it.

"We live in a world where the people we elect don’t want to feed hungry children, this is the least mad thing that has happened to me in a long time."

The comments saw the ITV show get hit with 341 Ofcom complaints.
