Inside Bergdorf Goodman and Nina Ricci's Intimate NYFW Dinner, Hosted by Harris Reed
On the first night of NYFW, Creative Director of Nina Ricci, Harris Reed, hosted an intimate dinner in Bergdorf Goodman's chic 7th-floor restaurant. Guests gathered at the iconic Manhattan department store after closing hours, blissfully roaming the hollowed while en route to the festivities. Inside the gathering, guests dressed in the latest season of Nina Ricci lined Bergdorf Goodman's light green brocade walls amidst blossoming magenta florals that perfectly matched the collection's pieces. After cocktail hour, party-goers took their seats at the slender rectangular table taking up the length of the dining room.
Before the first course, Reed recalled a recent pinch-me moment when walking down Fifth Avenue and spotting his designs in the iconic department store windows. "I remember going to New York as a kid and always coming to this iconic building. I would look in the windows and dream, finding myself immersed in a world that I didn't think was ever possible to be a part of," Harris Reed told Vogue. "So to be here tonight and seeing wonderful people from all walks of life coming to support a vision and a new chapter for Nina Ricci—a bright, bold, inclusive step in the right direction means the absolute world."
Attendees included Karen Elson, Jordan Roth, Zerina Akers, Hunter Abrams, Kennedy Yanko, alongside longtime friends and collaborators of Harris and many more. They were joined by Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo and Yumi Shin.
