Jamie Lynn-Spears has claimed that she and Britney 'love each other' as she broke her I'm A Celebrity silence about her famous sister on Monday night's show.

After she was confirmed on the line-up for the new series of the ITV programme, Jamie-Lynn declared she was "best known for being an actress and singer," when, while she did appear in Zoe 101, she is famous for being the younger sibling of music icon Britney. Jamie-Lynn 'snubbed the chance to acknowledge the Toxic singer during a chat with Josie Gibson, when the This Morning host quizzed her on her 'musical family, only for Jamie-Lynn to just mention her mum.

I'm A Celebrity viewers at home were both confused and annoyed that Jamie-Lynn didn't mention Britney but her silence on the star has now been broken, with Jamie-Lynn opening up about her sister as Fred asked more about her life. Many Britney fans were upset that Jamie-Lynn had been signed for I'm A Celeb, given it's been widely reported that she didn't 'have her back' during her family issues.

Britney's attorney even sent a cease-and-desist letter to Jamie Lynn, accusing her of 'airing false or fantastical grievances', following the release of her autobiography last year but, in her chat with Fred, Jamie-Lynn told the First Dates star: "I think every family fights and has their stuff but I talked to her before I came here and we love each other.”

Talking more about how they both ended up in the spotlight, Jamie-Lynn explained: "My mumma, not in a cocky way at all, my mum literally believed we were the best in the world. I think we grew up, all we ever did was sing and dance, that was our whole household, that’s how we were."

Jamie-Lynn's chat about Britney and her family life came on the same day it was reported that ITV bosses are concerned that she could make an early exit, after struggling in the first few days of her time on the show. A source claimed: “The entry trials for I’m A Celebrity are notoriously tough and Jamie wasn’t the only one who struggled through the challenges."

They added: "But away from the cameras and scenes that aired on TV, it’s her behaviour in camp that has become obvious to crew. She has kept herself somewhat separate, not really socialising — and stayed in bed."
