Liverpudlians went wild when Van Gogh Alive came to the North West in 2021, but the popularity of immersive art exhibitions hasn't stopped there. The Awakening Collection will soon be coming to Stanhope Street, and locals are being encouraged to bring along their headphones when they visit.

From Sunday, February 11, 2024, until Sunday, March 3, 2024, this free event will feature 84 original designs created by talented designer Mark Leadbetter, owner of Eleven Two Art. Each one will have a QR code at the bottom of the artwork which viewers can scan to listen to 432Hz music and learn more about each piece.

But that's not the only thing which makes the exhibition special. All of Mark's artwork has been created with subliminal messaging to allow the viewer to question their reality and conscious experience, with the aim of helping them increase their self-awareness.

The collection will combine the 12 elements of the zodiac signs with the Egyptian pharaohs' signs of the zodiac, and each piece will be available to purchase for visitors in the seven chakra colours. All prints will also be displayed in frames containing shungite, which some individuals believe may help shield them from the harmful effects of EMF radiation.

Exploring spirituality through art

Eleven Two Art focuses on exploring spirituality through creativity

As a former gym owner, Mark sold his business in 2022 to focus on creating art full-time. The 40-year-old from Ormskirk says his designs are a reflection of his own spiritual journey, having spent time meditating and doing inner work throughout the last eleven years.

Even the business' name, Eleven Two Art, is symbolic of the artist's love of numerology - the branch of knowledge that deals with the energy and frequency of numbers. Mark is a lifepath eleven/two, and such people are allegedly known for their spiritual inclination and intuitiveness.

Mark says: "I first began to study art in school but after finishing a design and graphics course in college, I went straight into working in the fitness industry. Now, after 20 years, I've finally gone back to my love of creating artwork.

"The images I've designed have come from my spiritual journey and I hope they will help viewers elevate their consciousness. The 432Hz music available with each piece has also been specially created for this collection, and plays for exactly 11 minutes and two seconds.

"It's believed by some people that listening and playing music that has been produced and tuned to 432Hz can help promote feelings of wellness. I hope people who buy the artwork will listen to it inside their homes or before they practice meditation.

"I come from a fitness background which involves helping individuals develop their physical body and nutritional practices. I've now turned that around to trying to encourage people to find an inner sense of balance - I hope my artwork can help them find that, and I've had some great feedback on my designs so far."
