It comes after Abi broke her silence after viewers accused her former love interest Mitch Taylor of 'bullying' her on Love Island.

During the final week, the dating show received 913 Ofcom complaints and according to the TV watchdog, they 'primarily objecting to Mitch’s treatment of Abi and concerns for her welfare'.

Mitch was criticised for how he handled his love triangle with Abi and Ella Barnes and fans feared Abi was being 'bullied' by Mitchel during the Grafties challenge.

Abi has now spoken out on the situation and told Cosmopolitan: 'To be honest, I think the word bullying is a really strong word to use.

'It could be a little bit too strong because obviously I was only in there for four weeks and for two of those weeks me and Mitch got on really well.

She continued: 'Maybe at times I did feel bullied by Mitch. He did make me feel isolated, and I just feel the comments kept coming and it was never ending. It was one after another after another.

'At the time, obviously, I was trying to change the connection I had with Scott from just friends to being a little bit more, and having someone just pick at your relationship and having someone telling you it's not going to work, you don't like her. I don't think me and Scott really got a fair chance to get to know each other.'

Following the episode on Tuesday July 25, fans rushed to Ofcom to complain about Mitch's treatment of Abi.

Mitch took to the stage when he was voted winner of 'mad moves' after he told ex Abi that he wanted to be with her over Ella B.

During his rambling speech, Mitch said: 'I am proud to get my second award to tonight' before declaring himself a 'better man' after being exposed for playing Abi off against Ella B.

He then asked 'Has everyone else got anything to say?' and when they didn't he quipped: 'That's what I thought'.

As shouted at to sit down Mitch snapped: 'Shut up' before Scott declared: 'Has anyone ever told you you're a f*****g kn** head?'.

Mitch, furious at the idea of being called a 'k***head' took a swipe at Scott and Abi's relationship, only for Scott to ask the fellow singletons 'Am I wrong?'.

As Scott quipped: 'You're still a k** head' before his rival declared himself 'The king'.

Abi became increasingly sad as she said: 'Why are you trying to start something Mitch? You don't need to.'
