talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Wednesday 21 February

The Champions League action continues on Wednesday with two more round-of-16 first-leg ties taking place, while closer to home, title-chasing Liverpool host Luton in the Premier League.

There is also action from the Europa Conference League and the semi-finals of the EFL Trophy to look out for in what promises to be another compelling midweek programme.

Bet of the day

Arsenal to beat Porto and over 2.5 goals in the match - 17/10

Arsenal are heading into their first Champions League knockout tie for seven years in irresistible form, as they are on a five-match winning streak during which time they have scored an eye-watering 21 goals.

That total has been boosted by emphatic away wins at West Ham (6-0) and Burnley (5-0) in their last two games and they will fancy their chances of claiming another high-scoring win at Porto.

The Portuguese giants are not in the best of nick by their own high standards, as they are off the pace in the Primeira Liga title race, dropping points in two of their last three matches against mid-table Arouca and struggling Rio Ave.

Sergio Conceicao will need his side to step up considerably from those efforts if they are to live with Arsenal, but even that might not be good enough, with the Gunners taken to claim another away win featuring plenty of goals.

Special of the day

Bet Builder: Liverpool to beat Luton, both teams to score and Mohamed Salah to score anytime  - 2/1

Liverpool have won 17 of their 19 home matches across all competitions this season and Wednesday's clash with Luton will mark exactly a year since they were last beaten at Anfield - a 5-2 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

While Luton fans will be hoping that the date is a positive omen for their side, realistically this is a match that Jurgen Klopp's Premier League leaders should win.

Luton can at least contribute to an entertaining game that sees both teams score, as the Hatters have netted in 12 league games on the spin, while Liverpool are without a clean-sheet in any of their last six.

However, if this becomes a game of fighting fire with fire, then back Liverpool to win, especially if a now fully-fit Mohamed Salah can grab what would be his 20th club goal of the season.

Long shot of the day

Bradford to beat Wycombe to nil - 4/1

A place in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley will be at stake when Bradford play host to Wycombe, and despite there being a division between these two sides, it is the League Two Bantams that look good value to win this match to nil.

Graham Alexander's side are unbeaten in their last five matches, winning four of those games and keeping clean-sheets in all of them.

Wycombe were held to a goalless draw by Oxford on home soil last time out and they have also struggled to score regularly on their travels of late, failing to net in four of their last eight road fixtures.

This could prove to be a tense semi-final battle, but momentum and home advantage is with Bradford and they can take the spoils at the expense of their third-tier opponents.
