Instagram user Rebecca Kahane Pankow (@beccakahane) is a Los Angeles-based stylist and personal shopper.

Her secret is to spray cheap vodka mixed with water on soiled materials.

"You can spray it on any areas of concern," she said.

"It will deodorize any foul smells," Rebecca continued. "It will kill any bacteria and it will not damage your clothing."

"As a bonus, it will save you money from going to the dry cleaner as often," she added.

The stylist said her tip works on vintage clothing, too.

You don't have to worry about them being damaged by the dry cleaner or washing machine.

"You can use it to spray the linings of your coats and leather jackets, as well as the interiors of your shoes," she said.

People who have animals can also use the hack.

You can spray blankets, couches or rugs, and the smell will evaporate with the smell.

Cheap vodka can also be used as a disinfectant around the kitchen, per NBC News.

It can be used on countertops, cutting boards, mirrors, and windows.

Soap scum and mildew around the bathroom can also be eliminated with vodka, the outlet said.

Finally, just like in Rebecca's video, NBC News said cheap vodka can be used to deodorize linens and the linings of shoes.
