Love Island finalist Luis Morrison's ex-partner Chloe Elizabeth shared that their son Romeo was rushed to hospital this week.
The former islander, 29 - who first appeared on the ITV2 show in 2015, before returning for Love Island: All Stars this year - and his ex Chloe welcomed their son Romeo, now two, in 2021. Chloe shares updates from her life as a parent with her followers on social media platforms like Instagram.
She took to the platform on Thursday to share a photo of Romeo attached to a monitor, seemingly in hospital, and described him as her "big brave boy." It's been suggested that medical assistance was sought after he played with a plug-in air freshener.
Chloe wrote in an update: "Hi thanks everyone for checking in on Romeo he's luckily ok and has been sorted and is now sleeping everything off but please please please if you have any kids remove all plug-in air fresheners from your home or at least move them far out of reach. They can do a lot more damage than I ever thought."
She later issued an update to her followers just hours later, which showed Romeo enjoying a meal, seemingly at home. Chloe wrote in an accompanying caption: "Woke up feeling all better." During the clip itself, the toddler was asked if he felt better and responded by telling Chloe "Yeah".
Subsequent posts on her Instagram Story have shown the mother and son out for a walk together, with Chloe having shared a clip of Romeo running ahead of her. The pair have also enjoyed doing some baking in the kitchen together.
Chloe was romantically linked to former islander Luis in 2020 and the following year it was announced that they were expecting a baby together. Their son Romeo was born 11 weeks premature in October 2021 and remained in hospital for several weeks. Chloe wrote at the time: "My little trooper, you will never understand how special and truly loved you are. It still doesn’t feel real yet. I can't wait to get you home and be your Mam forever."
The following year it was announced that Chloe and Luis had separated. The former has continued to post about her life with their son Romeo in the almost two years since then.
Reflecting on their life together, Chloe wrote in a post celebrating her son's birthday last year: "I'm so lucky to be able to be your mam, you will forever be my superhero. I'm sorry I've spent the past couple weeks crying because you'll never be this young again but there's nothing more I love watching than you growing up. Thank you for letting me grow with you, thank you for showing me what love really feels like and thank you for being the craziest goofiest most loving little boy. You really are my best friend and I'm so proud of you. Love you so much it hurts."
