Aldi is continuing to open up sites across the country.

At the start of the year, it announced plans to spend £550 million on opening new stores and upgrading existing ones all across the UK. While it has not specified how many stores will be opened this year, it has detailed some targeted sites in the country it has its eye on.

Many of these prime locations are set either within town centres or at the fringes of towns. Some of Aldi's priority is also focused in parts of London, Warrington, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Cambridge.
