Police have released an update after an elderly woman was found unconscious with "serious injuries". She was taken to hospital for treatment and appeal was launch, after she was found on the junction of Meadow Lea and Montgomery Road, in Caia Park, Wrexham yesterday.
A subsequent investigation, found there were no suspicious circumstances and the cause of her injuries were "accidental. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Following an appeal for witnesses into an incident in the Caia Park area yesterday (Tuesday, March 26th) where an elderly female was reported as being injured we can confirm there are no suspicious circumstances.
"CCTV footage obtained from the area shows the injury was accidental. The female continues to receive treatment for her injuries."
