A major search was launched for a "high risk" man who went missing on Anglesey yesterday. Police, Coastguard, RNLI crews, dogs, a plane, and a Coastguard helicopter, have been involved in the search overnight for a 55-year-old man named Ieuan, who went missing from Newborough.

The multi-agency search resumed this morning as emergency services combed the area for the missing man, with the Coastguard helicopter flying above the area.

Initially a North Wales Police Anglesey appeal said: "MISSING: North Wales Police have concerns for Ieuan, 55 years old missing from the Newborough, Anglesey area. He was last seen today at 13.50 in the Newborough area.
