A stalker moved “around the corner” from his victim, tried to apply to the same gym as her and even bought the same dog and car as her, a court was told.
Martin Gunn, 51, met the victim on the Hinge dating app in March 2023 and started stalking her after just a few dates.
He sent numerous unwanted letters and emails and repeatedly went to the woman’s home address, child’s school, place of work and gym.
Chad Echakowitz, for the prosecution, said: “They only went on a few dates together and the relationship was only minorly intimate, some kissing.
“In April 2023 the defendant became jealous and worried the victim was seeing other people. He questioned the victim about who she was messaging and
