The search for victims of the Baltimore bridge collapse has been suspended as officials shift focus to clearing the wreckage in an effort to reduce the economic impact of the incident.
Four construction workers who are presumed dead after Tuesday’s tragedy at the Francis Scott Key Bridge remained missing as recovery efforts were paused on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the bodies of two workers — Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, and Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26 — were recovered from the Patapsco River. Hernandez, originally from Mexico, lived in Baltimore and Cabrera lived in the suburb of Dundalk after arriving in the US from Guatemala.
