Instead, she revealed how she managed to transform her tired-looking council house kitchen for just £55 using bargain buys from the likes of B&Q and B&M.

And perhaps the best part of all? It took her just one day.

In a clip shared to TikTok, which has since garnered a whopping 118k views, she begins: "I had the idea to decorate my council apartment kitchen and in 22 hours this happened."

The DIY whizz then posted a before snap of her "clean but basic" kitchen, which featured plain white walls, back splash, cupboard doors and a black vinyl worktop.

"I hate these worktops," Chloe says. "Ugh, it's got to go."

Desperate to add an injection of colour, she then lifted the lift on a paint pot which she bought from B&M and enthuses: "My bargain £10 paint which I didn't actually check the colour of until I got home."

But luckily, Chloe's gamble paid off!

Not only did she paint the once white walls a stunning shade of sage green, but she also told how she decided to fresh up the discoloured tile grout using a £10 grout pen.

Next, she purchased three rolls of wooden effect vinyl from B&Q, which cost £9 per roll, and applied it to the kitchen worktop, which instantly gave the room a totally new look.

To complete the impressive transformation, the DIY whizz added netting to her windows, while faux greenery hung from the ceiling to add a touch of nature to the space.

I transformed my grubby garden patio for less than £50 - it was so easy to do, all you need is some paint & a stencil

Clearly delighted with her efforts, she penned: "I loveeeee!"

A grout pen is a quick and easy way to get grubby grout looking sparkling white again, and is loved by the likes of Stacey Solomon.

The Sort Your Life Out star previously enthused: "They're really good - and they're so easy to use as well."

She also explained how simple and effective they really are and explained: "You basically just put the tip of the pen at the top of the grout line and drag it all the way down or across, whatever way you're going.

"Don't worry if you go outside the lines - just get some dry tissue or paper towel and literally wipe over.

"I mean, it's as easy as that. It's so simple, anyone can do it - even if you feel like you haven't got a steady hand, you don't need one."
