Drivers heading south in Yorkshire have been hit by 20 minute delays following a crash on the M1. A lane is blocked following the crash just before J33 and traffic is slow.

Traffic scanners say delays are not helped by the roadworks. The crash happened at around 1.40pm this afternoon.

INRIX says: "One lane closed and slow traffic due to accident on M1 Southbound before J33 A630 (Catcliffe / Sheffield / Rotherham ). Lane three (of three). Delays aren't helped by the roadworks."
