A dedicated hotline has been set up for victims and families affected by the Legacy Funeral Directors scandal.

A man, aged 46, and a woman, aged 23, were arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial, fraud by false representation and abuse of position and released on bail after 34 bodies were transferred from Hull's Legacy Funeral Directors premises to a nearby mortuary.

Humberside Police launched an investigation into the funeral directors - which has two branches in Hull and one in Beverley. They issued a report "expressing concern about the storage and management processes relating to care of the deceased."
