A tourist from across the pond has travelled from the US to Hull as a part of his nationwide food tour.

TikToker KalaniGhostHunter has amassed 2.9 million followers on the app as he tours the United Kingdom. Initially visiting as part of a ghost tour, his plans soon changed as his followers kept suggesting places to dine out after rating a roast - and his channel soon evolved into a food review tour.

On one of Kalani's many stops, he visited Hull's Trinity Market to try out Boss Burrito. Despite claiming that he has yet to have any good Mexican food this side of the water, he was left very impressed with the local street food vendor. The Nashville, Tennessee local said that before trying the food, someone suggested trying a pattie in typical Hull fashion.

This is the second time that the social media presence has been in the UK trying out local cuisines from all over. Since arriving originally, Kalani has indulged in Greggs, KFC, Nando's, steak and ale pie, fish and chips, Chinese takeaways, visited the Lidl bakery and had a full English breakfast. Rating places on taste and texture, Kalani says he could eat 400 Greggs' sausage rolls before getting bored and would "never get sick of fish and chips".

Trying Boss Burritos' pork quesadilla, his first impressions were good. Upon his first bite, Kalani said "Wow, that is actually really good. You can tell the meat is very tender, it's probably been cooked for a while. This is something you gotta be very patient with. This is some really good Mexican food."

Comparing it to the American counterpart, the reviewer claims that Boss Burritos are "a bit sweeter" than the quesadillas back at home. Prior to coming to Hull the TikToker claims that he is yet to try a decent Mexican, but Boss Burrito may have changed that with Kalani giving the pork quesadilla a rating of 9.3.

Trying the slow-roasted steak tacos next, he immediately compliments the portion sizes before taking a bite. Following the taste test without the dipping sauce, he says "The meat is tender, those are really tasty." But once Kalani used the sauce, it helped bump up the score.

"Wow. This sauce added the kick I needed on these tacos. The steak tacos by themselves, were 9.5 but with the sauce, we're going to give this a 9.8. The only thing I'm missing is a li'l more kick in the taco itself, but this is fantastic."

Now trying the main event, a chicken burrito, he immediately praises the girth and the toastiness of the Mexican delight. taking in a big bite for his initial judgment. "The rice is good, the seasoning in there is good, but I need some kind of dipping sauce in this; whether its hot sauce or maybe its some of this Boss sauce for the taco."

After a quick dip of the remaining sauce, he compliments the burrito. "I give this probably an 8.5, it's not my favourite. I like a bit of creaminess inside the burrito, this is very carb-heavy with the rice but not bad at all." He then encourages people who are visiting to have the burritos with the sauce.

On the day that Kalani was visiting, the special of the day from Boss Burrito was lamb tacos, something that initially puzzled the content creator. "I don't really think that lamb belongs on tacos, I've never heard that but we'll give it a go."

After a big crunch, the American couldn't grasp the concept of lamb in a taco. "It's not bad, the lamb is cooked really well, tastes great. It's just a weird flavour palette for me because I've never had lamb when I'm expecting Mexican food." After another dunk of the sauce, Kalani gives the lamb tacos a 9.1 rating.
