How do I start a private message with people or a bunch of people?

Solution
This is extremely easy to do. Simply click on a member's username and then select "Start Private Message".

You can also click on the envelope icon in the top right and select "Start a new private message"

And then simply type the name or names of members that you want to private message.

This is a good way to ask private questions, start a private group message with your fellow future classmates, or anything else.
