A BBC Strictly Come Dancing star has announced the sad split from his partner after years together. Former Strictly pro Gleb Savchenko has announced that he has split from his girlfriend of three years, Elena Belle, with the couple parting ways in February.
Gleb, 40, and Elena, 39, were first romantically linked in August 2021, nine months after Gleb's ex-wife, Elena Samodanova, filed for divorce. He and Elena were married for 14 years and share two children - named Olivia and Zlata.
In a new interview, former Strictly Come Dancing pro Gleb said: “Yes, Elena and I broke up about a month ago. It kind of just happened. People always say life happens and sometimes I think, ‘How did it even happen?’” Gleb is best known for his year stint on BBC Strictly in 2015.

In 2015 Gleb jetted across the pond and joined US spin-off Dancing with the Stars. He added to Page Six: "She’s an amazing mum, she’s an amazing person and everything. It’s just the timing. We had been together for almost three years and I had, like, the best time of my life with her. There’s certain things that just didn’t work out.”
OK! reports Gleb also said: “I wish her all the best and I’m sure she’ll be fine. She’s a super hot girl and everything. She’s awesome. I’m gonna miss her a lot.” Announcing his divorce in 2021, Gleb said in a statement: "My number one priority right now and always will be my daughters and making this divorce have as minimal an effect on them as possible.
"Sometimes relationships don't work out and this is one of those times. Elena and I agreed to work together to end the marriage with grace and be amicable to one another. As co-parents we commit to protect our girls from our differences, to support their relationships with each other and to continue to put their growth and development first."
