Watertown police respond to threat at Calvary Baptist School

WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to the Watertown Police Department, they responded to a report of a threat to a school on Wednesday, April 10.

Police say they received a call from staff at Calvary Baptist School around 2:34 p.m. The staff reported they had received an email that was threatening immediate harm to the school. 

Police arrived and put the school on lockdown and secured the school's entrances. Staff sent a message to all families advising them of the situation, and that students would be transported by bus to another location. Police say they provided protection while students and staff left the school. 

All students were picked up by their families at 4:00 p.m. and police say no more information will be released at this time.
