Leicester City spent more than £8m on agents' fees over the course of their two Championship transfer windows since falling back into the second tier last spring. The Foxes were relegated from the Premier League last May after a season of struggle, largely under Brendan Rodgers, and raised plenty of funds last summer - although they spent a few quid on players, too.

At a time when the club's finances are already under the microscope, the FA's official list of club spending on agents will bring more scrutiny. City have begun legal proceedings against both the Premier League and the EFL after being charged with breaking PSR rules. If found guilty, they could be subject to a points deduction - either in the Championship or in the top flight.

Across the last two transfer windows, as is usually the case for sides who come down from the top flight, Leicester are amongst the highest spenders on agents - indeed only Leeds, who spent more than a staggering £13m on agents, splashed out more. Southampton forked out over £7.5m on intermediaries too.

For Leicester, they signed Harry Winks, Conor Coady, Mads Hermansen, Stephy Mavididi and Tom Cannon on permanent deals. They also completed loan moves for Abdul Fatawu, Calum Doyle, Cesare Casadei and Yunus Akgun. Among the big sales in the summer were Harvey Barnes to Newcastle United, James Maddison to Tottenham Hotspur and Timothy Castagne.
