iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 beta 2 are now available to download on all supported iPhone and iPad models and can be installed for free if your Apple ID is registered with the company's developer account. If you are willing to give it a shot, the new beta can be installed through the Settings app on your iPhone. All you have to do is launch the Settings app, head to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and tap on the latest beta available for your iPhone or iPad. Make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account; otherwise, the update will not arrive over the air.

Besides iOS 17.5, Apple has also released beta 2 of its watchOS 10.5 update to developers so they can curate bugs and issues as the beta cycles progress. Interested users can download and install the latest build via the Apple Watch companion app on their iPhone, and all you have to do is navigate to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and download the latest beta available for your Apple Watch. On your Apple Watch, make sure that the battery life is above 50 percent and the wearable is placed on a charger.

macOS 14.5 beta 2 can be downloaded through the Software Update section in the System Settings app by enabling or opting into the beta. Similar to the other updates, your Apple ID should be linked to your Developer Account to receive the update over the air. As of yet, we are not familiar with the list of changes the new beta updates will bring to the Mac lineup, but we suspect that the company has made further changes in the App Store Guidelines for developers.

Alongside some of the major updates, tvOS 17.5 beta 2 has also been released to developers for all supported Apple TV models. The new beta update can be installed through the Settings app on your Apple TV after you have opted into the beta program. There is no word on what the latest beta holds for users, but we will update you as soon as additional details are available.

Besides this, Apple has added visionOS to its beta cycle, offering weekly beta updates to developers for testing purposes so the Vision Pro can run without bugs and issues. With that said, Apple has released beta 2 of its upcoming visionOS 1.2 to developers, which can be downloaded and installed directly on the headset. The update can be installed on the Vision Pro through the Settings app after you have toggled on the developer beta option. We will keep you in the loop regarding the new additions in each beta once developers are done tinkering with the latest builds.
