A man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car, shut a road in Gwynedd for hours last night (Tuesday). North Wales Police put out a statement after which said: "Due to an incident near Sarnau. the A494 between Bala and Bethel is currently closed. Please use alternative routes for the time being."
Today, in an update, a spokesperson for the force said: "We were called at around 7.40pm yesterday (April 16th) to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Sarnau, involving a car and a motorbike.
"As a result, the A494 between Bala and Bethel was closed whilst emergency services were at the scene. A man was taken to hospital and the road reopened at around 10.20pm."
