But you can ditch the DIY trends because Boots shoppers have found the perfect product for the job - and it won't break the bank.

The Ordinary are known for their simple products that do exactly what they say on the tin, so it's no surprise their lash serum is a winner for beauty fans.
The Multi-Peptide Lash & Brow Serum has hundreds of rave reviews, many of which claim the product made their lashes look "thicker and fuller instantly."
The best part is the serum is priced at just £14.20 in Boots, so you can lather your lashes in the serum without worrying about your bank balance.
The product description online describes the serum as a "non-greasy formula enriched with 11 active ingredients, including four peptide complexes and natural extracts, specifically formulated to nourish and protect your lashes and brows."
And they claim that "through consistent use, this serum promotes thicker, fuller, and healthier-looking lashes and brows, enhancing their density and overall appearance."
One happy shopper gave the product a perfect five star rating online and wrote: "I have been using this product for quite a while and swear by it. I have naturally long eye lashes but they were only dark at the roots.
"It only took a short time for them to become totally dark. They are much thicker and rarely fall out now. My eyebrows also filled in to an extent quickly."
A second also thought the serum was a perfect, they wrote: "I never write product reviews but I love this serum so much. Been using it for about 6 months and WOW. My lashes are twice as long now. So happy!!!"

So, how should you use the serum?
You only need to apply a thin layer along the lash line, and eyebrows too if you want to thicken those up, once in the morning and again in the evening.
However, not everyone had success with the product, and some shoppers noted they didn't see a huge difference.
"I have been using this serum for 3 months on my eyebrows with not much improvement.
"Possibly slightly thicker but no noticeable difference since applying this twice daily," on shopper wrote alongside a three star rating.
The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine
Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.
The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference - and this matters for all ages - is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.
"The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation," she continued, not because you're "not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday".
"If you're not doing in your 20s, get on that now."
But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn't go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.
Doing this over your lifetime - and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days - "will reduce the visible signs of photoageing", Andrea said.
