UFC chief Dana White has confirmed the UFC's upcoming event in the UK will take place in Manchester.

The company's president announced the major news with rumours that Co-Op Live could be the venue to host the night. Back in March, the White pledged to bring a pay-per-view event to the UK this year and hinted at an imminent announcement.

White confirmed during last Thursday's press conference for UFC 300 that Manchester has been selected as the host city for the upcoming event. Speaking about the PPV, White said: “When we get it done, we’ll let you know, but we’re definitely going to Manchester.”

The two champions White was referring to are interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and welterweight champion Leon Edwards, who was born in Jamaica and fights out of Birmingham. When pressed for a further announcement, White was slightly more coy and said it would be coming "Literally in days".

He added: "We’re right there working on this stuff. We’ve got some badass plans for England: numbered card, pay-per-view, a great one.” In the meantime while fans wait for news on the card, tickets and more the UFC is being broadcast in the UK on TNT Sports so let's find out what fights are coming up and how you can watch.
