Tennis star Emma Raducanu's registered company made an eye-watering profit of almost £10million last year.

Raducanu, 21, has managed to maintain her huge public profile amid a series of injuries which led to her undergoing triple surgery in spring 2023. The former British No.1, who made history three years ago by winning the US Open aged just 18, is now back on court and bidding to get back to her best, this week playing at the Stuttgart Open in Germany.

But away from the tennis court and on the balance sheets, Raducanu has been healthy. Although the Toronto-born Brit's on-court earnings were just £200,000, her company - Harbour 6 Ltd, which she's the sole director of - recorded a staggering profit of £9.6m in accounts registered at Companies House.

Raducanu's income is largely made up of lucrative sponsorship deals with the likes of Nike, British Airways, Christian Dior, Evian, HSBC, P orsche, Vodafone and Tiffany. But not all of the 21-year-old's earnings have passed through Harbour 6 Ltd in the past.

It was recorded that just a third of her US Open winnings - which were more than £2m - were paid into the account. Raducanu - who's dropped to 303rd in the WTA world rankings as a result of her injury lay-off - is on course to earn plenty more, too, having shown signs of rediscovering her form in 2024.

Last week, she impressively led Great Britain to victory over France in the Billie Jean King Cup. On Wednesday, the youngster beat Germany's Angelique Kerber, a former major winner, 6-1, 6-2 in the opening round of the Stuttgart Open, marking her third win in the space of a week and demonstrating her ability to shine on a clay court.

"It was very difficult to play Angie because she was so much history behind her," Raducanu admitted. "You are not just playing Angelique Kerber, you are playing the person who has achieved all those amazing results. It wasn't the prettiest but I just focused on the next point and did not get too bogged down. So I'm happy to have got through that."

Next up is a last-16 clash with Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic on Thursday, with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs. Acclaimed tennis coach Rick Macci, who used to mentor Serena Williams, has even backed Raducanu to break into the world top 10.

"You don't lose the skill, but you kind of lose the will and I don't know what's in her head," Macci told Sportskeeda. "But when she plays every point like it's her last breath and she's the ultimate competitor, I can see. I said it before she'll be top 10 in the world by the end of 2025."
