Fans could not contain their excitement after Kelsey Parker revealed that she was part of her friend's home birth.

Sharing a picture of her cradling her friend's baby daughter named Delilah, Kelsey, 34, who is also a mum of two, wrote alongside the snap: "Welcome to the world, baby Delilah Lucy Blake, born on April 17, 2024, weighing 7.4lbs! Yesterday was a truly special day of witnessing my best friend Rosie’s home birth."

Wearing a black vest top, Kelsey held Delilah, who was wrapped in a purple towel, close to her chest as she smiled for the camera. And it was evident that the picture was taken just moments after Kelsey's pal had given birth, judging by Delilah's fresh complexion. While treasuring the moment, Kelsey also paid tribute to her late husband Tom, who sadly passed away in 2022 after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Kelsey said that she felt The Wanted star had given her "signs" following Delilah's birth. She added: "Watching Delilah enter the world was a blessing, especially after witnessing Tommy’s birth, and now seeing his sister being born was the cherry on top of the cake! It’s incredible how Tom continues to show us signs.... 7 being our special number and his birthday falling on the 4th. Truly amazing! Welcome to the world Delilah. You are already so loved."

And it certainly didn't take long for her fans to respond to her post. One person said: "Congratulations she’s stunning and what a beautiful experience for you xx." Another person wrote: "Love this so much! Congratulations xx we share a birthday baby Delilah! All the best people are born on 17th April xx." Meanwhile a third person penned: "Awwwww congratulations lovely xx." And a fourth person said: "Oh huge congrats”.

This comes after she discussed the second anniversary of Tom's heartbreaking death. In an interview with OK! she said: "Grief’s a funny thing, isn’t it?” she said. “Living grief and going through it… For me, I am the preacher of, ‘You’ve got to live for each day and take each day as it comes.’ But I think when I hit March, I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’ and I can’t believe it’s actually been two years since I lost Tom.” She added: “You know, the end of this month will be two years and within the time frame people go, ‘Oh, how does that feel for you?’ But for me it feels ages since I've last seen him, but then only yesterday that it happened.”

Back in December last year, Kelsey revealed that she had split from her boyfriend Sean Boggans. Speaking of the split, she said at the time: "Hopefully one day I will find love again." Answering a fan's question on Instagram, she admitted: "We're not together anymore. It's a shame it didn't work out as he's a really amazing person, but it just wasn't right. Hopefully one day I will find love again."
