Huge queues outside SHEIN as new pop-up shop opens
The online fashion retailer has opened a temporary store in Liverpool
Queues of people took over Liverpool ONE this morning, Friday, as a popular online retailer set up shop in the city centre.
In very similar scenes to the Sisters and Seekers event in March, people came from far and wide to have the rare chance to browse through SHIEN products in-person. ECHO reporter Alice Walker spoke to some shoppers who had been waiting at the front of the queue since 6:55am.
Pictures show the massive queues stretching down Paradise Street towards John Lewis. The queue did not appear to drop below full capacity this morning, with security letting people join in waves.

The pop-up store will be showcasing the newest spring/summer styles across SHEIN's best-selling collections. There will be exclusive shopping opportunities and immersive experiences including complimentary photo moments, live fashion illustrations and makeovers.
The ECHO were given the chance to look around before the doors opened to the public. The launch of SHEIN’s pop-up shop marks an exciting milestone as it brings the MUSERA, SHEGLAM and core SHEIN collections to life.
The pop-up shop will be located at Liverpool ONE, Unit 40, Lower South John Street L1 8LT. It will be open to the public from Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 21. Opening times are Friday & Saturday 10am – 7pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.
