The Chase viewers were baffled as they spotted a problem after a player's incredible performance.

Bradley Walsh returned to host this week's final edition of the popular ITV game show. Dan, Nadine, Marcus and Analiese were testing their wits in a bid to win a huge cash prize on the latest episode.

Paul Sinha was the Chaser standing in their way as he attempted to prevent the team from winning thousands. Dan started off in great form as he progressed to the Final Chase with £4,000.

The Sinnerman fought back and eliminated Nadine in the second head to head of today's show. However, he couldn't stop Marcus and Analiese from progressing to the last round.

Analiese wowed fans as she gambled to take the higher amount of £65,000 before progressing past Paul. However, fans following the show on X were confused as they claimed her incredible performance was not celebrated by the other players despite their haul increasing to £75,000.

Neil added: "Distinct lack of applause from the 2 fellas when she brought them back £65,000!!"

Nat commented: Why does Dan look upset? You're playing for 75k!"

Matt posted: "You see no one clapped for her"

However, the team were not able to continue their performance into the Final Chase. They could only build up 13 steps and left empty handed when they were caught with 49 seconds remaining.
