To start, she cut up the banana peel into small segments with a pair of scissors and put the pieces into a large cup. Then, she poured hot water over the peels and allowed them to ferment for a full day.

Next, she sieved the liquid using a strainer and finally, added a modest amount of distilled white vinegar into the mixture. "White vinegar can quickly decompose a variety of nutrients in banana peels," she said.

Lastly, she poured the resulting mixture over the soil of her potted plants, as the Express reports. The gardening pro also recommended transferring the solution into a spray bottle and applying it directly onto the plant's leaves.

According to the content creator, this method will result in your plants producing new vibrant green leaves. Other top tips from Green Garden include using beer mixed with water as a simple fertiliser, while milk mixed with water acts as a nourishing solution for garden plants.
