Kai Rooney has left slip his mum Coleen's Wagatha Christie secret.

Coleen, 37, shared her side of the infamous £3million libel case against Rebekah Vardy, 41, last year when she graced the cover of British Vogue for a shoot and in-depth interview. In the stunning cover image Coleen wore a cream Dior trench coat in front of Liverpool's iconic Liver Building.

The words "Wife, mother, detective, superstar" were emblazoned on the cover and it seems Coleen was a huge fan as she has it hanging up in her house. A huge blown-up version of the Vogue cover can be seen on the wall behind a sofa in a picture Kai shared online.

Kai took to Instagram to share a snap of clothing he had been sent from brand Drama Call and Coleen's cover is visible in the picture. When the cover was released, fans went wild for the wording used to describe the former England footballer's wife.

One fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, at the time: "Coleen Rooney on the cover of British Vogue being described as a 'detective' and styled as Inspector Gadget feels absolutely correct to me." Someone else said: "Coleen Rooney being the cover star for British Vogue with the words 'wife, mother, detective, superstar' is absolutely ICONIC to me."

Another added: "You could set up your own business as a private investigator," while a fourth shared: "Coleen Rooney on the cover of British Vogue was not on our 2023 bingo card."

In the candid interview, Coleen branded her nemesis "odd" and admitted her "evil" texts read in court made her sick. Rebekah had sued her over an accusation she had leaked details of Coleen's private life to the press after Coleen had concocted a secret sting operation to find out who was sharing stories about her to The Sun.

Coleen admitted she didn't tell Wayne, also 37, or her mum about her plan to bring down whoever was leaking stories about her to the press. She said: "If I want to do sunnin’ – and I know I’ll get talked out of doing sunnin’ – I’ll just go ahead and do it. I didn’t want no one telling me not to do it."

Recalling how she found out she'd won the case, Coleen added: "I had to come out to take the phone call, so I’m sitting in me car in the middle of Manchester in an industrial estate on my own. David Sherborne, her lawyer, came on the line and said. 'We've won,' he said without any build up.

"I think all I did was swear for the whole quarter of an hour phone call. It was quite surreal how many people followed it. Not just footballers or the girls. It felt like everyone was reading about it. All ages, all types. The positivity I got from it…I’m glad for that, at least."
