Leeds United are in the thick of a tense, nail-biting Championship promotion race. Three clubs are fighting it out finish in the top-two as we prepare to enter the final phase of the campaign.

United kept their hopes alive of sealing automatic promotion, coming-from-behind to beat Middlesbrough 4-3 at the Riverside Stadium. Victory ended their three-match winless win and helped them climb above Ipswich Town back into second spot. They trail leaders Leicester City by a solitary point, albeit with one more game played.

Reflecting on the Whites' enthralling victory at Boro, ex-Arsenal man Adrian Clarke said: “It was a wild ride of a game, really, really exciting. I think Leeds kind of forgot how to defend at times and they got lucky with the Wilfried Gnonto goal which was clearly offside, but that moment with [Crysencio] Summerville bending goal number four in for Leeds was the one.

“It’s just set up which I think is going to be the best finale we’ve seen in the Championship for many, many seasons.”

United will have one eye on tonight's encounter between Leicester and Southampton at the King Power Stadium. City have lost three of their past six matches.

Next up for the Whites is a trip to Queens Park Rangers. Daniel Farke's troops will head to the capital knowing victory would put them four points clear of Ipswich. The Tractor Boys visit play-off chasing Hull City on Saturday evening. A trip to Coventry City and a final day clash with Huddersfield Town wrap up Ipswich's run-in as they chase back-to-back promotions.
