A new E4 reality series begins this week from the makers of Married at First Sight. Love Triangle, which is based on an Australian concept, is a brand new experiment that turns dating as you know it on its head.

The new series sees six singles (pickers) choose between just two handpicked partners (suitors). Based on a connection made by texting only, the single and their chosen match meet on a blind date before taking the extraordinary step of moving in together, in the hope of fast-tracking their relationship.

What the singles don’t know is that the pursuit of a ‘happy ever after’ comes with an explosive twist, when the rejected match arrives looking for love. Here’s everything you need to know about Love Triangle. Want less ads? Download WalesOnline’s Premium app on Apple or Android

How does Love Triangle work?

As mentioned, Love Triangle follows six singles as they spend two days getting to know two matches via text. They won’t know who it is they’ve been speaking to until they decide which person they’d like to go on a blind date with.

After their blind date, the ‘picker’ and their match will move in together and test how their future would look together. As the couples begin to settle, the people who were previously rejected will return and the ‘pickers; will meet them on a second blind date.

While on their second blind date, their new romantic interest will reveal they are also moving into the house to form a love triangle Throughout the experiment, the singles will be faced with plot twists. By the end, each single must choose which of their two matches they wish to continue dating.
