Alex Jones has shared details of her latest outfit on BBC's The One Show. The Welsh presenter took to Instagram where she revealed her gorgeous striped linen-rich suit was from high-street store Marks and Spencer.
The 47-year-old looked gorgeous in the two-piece as she interviewed Chris O'Dowd and Abbey Clancy alongside co-star Jermaine Jenas on the famous green sofa. Taking to Instagram following the episode, which aired on Tuesday, April 23, Alex posted a picture to her Story and simply wrote: "Suit @marksand spencer."
The suit in question appears to be the Linen Rich Relaxed Striped Blazer, £59, and the Linen Rich Striped Wide Leg Trousers, £39.50. The suit brings a smart touch to warm-weather looks. The single-breasted design blazer features peaked lapels and flap pockets for timeless styling, it has no closure for a laid-back aesthetic. At the time of writing, the blazer has one five-star review, with a satisfied shopper calling it a gorgeous outfit of "good quality" that hangs well.
The customer added: "Fabulous suit - love it! Doesn't crease badly and well cut." Meanwhile, the trousers have six five-star reviews, with many calling them "perfect" for summer.
One shopper wrote: "These are perfect for summer. Great fit, I purchased the short version as I am only 5'2". I can't comment on the washing of these as I haven't worn them out yet. They look and feel great."
While another added: "Lovely trousers nice material lovely for holidays," and a third commented: "Lovely fitting linen trouser, great quality and lovely for spring/summer!"
The lowest review is a two-star after a customer had an issue with the sizing. It reads: "I’m between 2 sizes and I bought the larger size for a looser fit. Well it was nowhere near … would need to size up another size or two to even do them up! Sending them back, unfortunately."
