Tina Malone has been inundated with supportive messages from fans after looking back on the day her world "fell apart".

The actress, 61, lost her husband Paul Chase last month. Liverpool-born Tina broke the news of Paul's death on social media on Wednesday, March 13.

She married Paul, who was 42, in 2010. In 2019 they announced their split, but rekindled their romance in February 2020.

Tina shares daughter Flame, who was born in 2013, with Paul.

In a new post on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday Tina said: "Six weeks ago today was the worst day of my entire life, my world fell apart. My hubby Paul is dead, but he lives forever in my heart x".

Many of her followers have been quick to respond, as Philip said: "Sending you much love Tina" and Skylar said: "Sending you and Flame big hugs. When you did interviews you both came across so down to earth and relatable x".

Hay said: "So sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking news condolences to you and your family" and Pippa said: "He's with you and Flame always. Massive hugs xxx"
