Married at First Sight Australia is coming to an end for UK viewers who have watched the series unfold on E4. The social experiment, which sees couples meet for the first time on their wedding day after being matched by experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling, and Alessandra Rampolla, will wrap up following the reunion episodes.

Only five couples made it to the final vows, they were Tori and Jack, Lauren and Jonathan, Jade and Ridge, Sara and Tim, and Eden and Jayden. It comes after Lucinda and Tim called it quits during the most recent commitment ceremony, just weeks after Cassandra and Tristan, and Andrea and Richard did the same.

The final vows saw the couples decide whether to continue to work on their marriages or whether to call it quits for good. Viewers will then get to see who is still together during the reunion episodes which will air in the UK on Monday, April 29, and April 30.

As usual, those watching on E4 are behind the unfolding of events on the Australian network Nine, which means the reunion episodes have already aired Down Under and all of this year's brides and grooms have revealed whether they remained together when the camera stopped rolling. Warning - the below information contains spoilers.

Jade and Ridge - together

Psychiatric nurse Ridge, 27, and executive assistant Jade, 26, were late additions to the social experiment but quickly became 2024's strongest couple. Ahead of final vows Jade had reservations about Ridge's maturity, especially as she has a daughter, and the distance between their hometowns, however, the pair have managed to make things work on the outside.

Both Ridge and Jade regularly post loved-up snaps on Instagram, while he recently penned a heartfelt message to Jade on the social media platform that read: "If you had told me before I went on this experiment that I’d find love, I would have laughed in your face and told you to tell your story walking (sic).

"In the experiment, I managed to meet a girl who made me fall so deeply for her and made me realise why it never worked with anyone else. She’s all I’ve ever wanted and so much more. I’m so grateful that the experts matched us, and although she was handed to me, we made the choice to stay together and build something really special."

Lauren and Jonathan - split

PR and marketing consultant Lauren, 32, and health business owner Jonathan, 39, had a tumultuous time in the experiment. In the beginning, Lauren felt like Jonathan was too shy and wanted someone who would say what they thought. The pair also suffered a bump in the road when Jonathan failed to defend Lauren after Jack told him to "put a muzzle" on his wife during an explosive dinner party.

The pair managed to get back on track after a positive Homestay, but it later emerged at the final Dinner Party that Jonathan had been texting former bride Ellie, behind Lauren's back. After the revelation, the pair called it quits at the final vows, with Lauren telling Jono: "Our homestay visit to me was the absolute highlight of our relationship. I felt like I could truly see some kind of future together outside of this experiment and it was exciting. And then, of course, it all came crashing down.

"It was brought to my attention that you had been continuing to build some kind of relationship with another bride. One that you hid from me, then had the audacity to blame me for when you were exposed. My world felt like it had come crashing down around me.

"Instead of taking accountability at the final dinner party you chose to try and flip the script on me, blame me for not caring, never liking you and not being here for the right reasons.

"Although you completely wasted my time in terms for finding a romantic partner, you taught me that I should always trust my gut. Jono I don’t see a future with you and no it’s not me, it’s you."

Jono is now in a relationship with Ellie, who was previously married to Ben in the experiment, with the pair confirming they were an item during the reunion episodes, which is set to air in the UK on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30.

Personal trainer Jack, 34, and business development manager, Tori, 27, committed to one another during the final vows, despite Jack telling Tori they were not in love and he could not ask her to move to the Gold Coast in a rather bizarre speech.

The pair had a tough time in the experiment, with Tori having to defend her husband's actions again and again. However, despite this, the couple appear to be still going strong and regularly post snaps together on Instagram.

Following the final vows, Jack took to the social media platform and wrote: "Dear wife, you are the most incredible partner I could ever ask for. Your intelligence, your courage, your unconditional loyalty. You have supported me in ways that a man could never explain. For this I thank you, my journey on #MAFS was unforgettable however its only a chapter out of our ‘story of life’. You complete me & I vowel [sic] to always protect, respect & take care of you. You have absolutely won my heart."

While Tori shared her own post and wrote: "Jack, our journey was not for the faint of heart. We spent each and every day on what felt like a battlefield. We were alignment [sic] from day dot and our unity never wavered.

"You showed me that the old school love that I asked for, exists. You treat me with nothing but the utmost love, respect and gratitude. Thank you for making me feel protected, secure and valued.

"Jack, whilst we didn’t choose each other in the beginning, I can wholeheartedly say I choose you today and everyday thereafter. This experiment is only the beginning of our journey, here’s to the next chapter of us."

Eden and Jayden - split

Eden and Jayden hit it off from the very beginning and sailed through the first few weeks of the social experiment, however, cracks started to show when it came to light that they were struggling to communicate. Nonetheless, the pair expressed their love for each other at the final dinner party and exchanged sweet and tearful words during their final vows.

Just weeks after the reunion aired, however, and fans might be surprised to learn that the pair called time on their relationship, taking to Instagram to confirm they had gone their separate ways.

"When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with longterm intentions," Eden wrote. "Jayden & I spent many months together after the experiment, during which Cub gained a dad and I gained a second family who I’m truly grateful for.

"I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The ‘reality’ is, the person I chose didn’t choose me. Whilst I’m disappointed, I will never regret the experiment, the people I met, the lessons I learnt and the growth this process has had on me."

She added: "Thank you for supporting us and for also wishing for the same fairytale that I had hoped for." Jayden wrote his own post, which read: "Sometimes in life, things don’t always go the way you had hoped for. After the experiment, Eden and I went back to the Gold Coast and continued to enjoy living our lives together and getting to know each other every day.

"However, unfortunately, our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing. As sad as it is, I’m so glad I got to go through this with such an amazing woman and a beautiful son [dog emoji]. You will both always have a second family on the Gold Coast." Sara and Tim - split

Tim, 31, pledged to stay together with Sara, 30, during their final vows despite the ups and downs their relationship had experienced throughout the experiment, including a cheating scandal after it came to light she'd met up with her ex behind his back. Tim was prepared to put it all behind him, telling Sara he appreciated the effort she'd put into making it up to him.

However, Sara recently confirmed that the pair split a month after the reunion episode aired. Speaking to 9Entertainment, Sara said: "We broke up a month after the reunion.

"We didn't speak for a little while after, it was hard for us both but a few months down the track we started talking again. We're definitely friends now, we are very amicable. It's been good to be on good terms because we went through this crazy ride together."

Ellie and Jonathan - together

Ellie and Jono are now together

The scandal of the series saw the group find out at a Commitment Ceremony that Jono had been texting former bride Ellie behind his wife Lauren's back. Ellie was originally matched with Ben but the pair left the experiment early on.

Initially, Jono said his relationship with Ellie was platonic but the pair attended the reunion together as a couple and flaunted their romance in front of Lauren. In the cars on the way to the reunion Jono and Ellie are seen talking about Lauren disparagingly with Ellie saying: "You got the slay dragon..." "To get my princess," Jono added.

Back at the reunion dinner party Lauren had said she "felt so betrayed and stupid" and criticised Jono for not being open about his texts and downplaying their meaning. Jono said to the camera: "‘Lauren has no right to be upset. Ellie’s a beautiful, lovely human and Lauren is the opposite of that. It was worth walking through hell on broken glass to end up with this beautiful woman." Viewers were shocked by his attitude towards Lauren, you can read more on this here.

The pair are still together months on and regularly share loved-up snaps on Instagram. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
