The UK Foreign Office has changed its guidance for people travelling to France this week.
The government department regularly updates its advice for travel to any of 226 nations and territories in a bid to help people make informed decisions and stay safe, and on Wednesday evening, the FCDO issued a new alert to anyone with plans to visit France.
It comes after air traffic control unions in the country have called for industrial action.

A new Gov.uk alert reads: "It is being reported that on Thursday 25 April 2024, flights across France will be disrupted, with many cancelled, following a call for strike action by air traffic control unions.
"Check your operator’s advice before travelling, including where you are taking connecting flights."
Reuters reports that the biggest union representing French air traffic control workers, the SNCTA, said it will call off its threatened strike after reaching a deal with management over working conditions.
However, many airlines have said they will cancel flights on Thursday owing to expected disruption while talks continue with other trade unions representing French air traffic controllers.
